Welcome to the Clearwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Our website is a place to both acquaint you with the Clearwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited, our projects, our members and our mission - a very strong commitment to conservation. This is also a place for anglers to share stories and experiences.

We also have a great calendar of events where you can post items, plan trips, or conservation projects/events with other club members.  Send me an email if you have questions, feedback or you would like to make a posting.

For the last couple years, many members of Clearwater who live in the western part of our district have asked if it would be possible to start a satellite group. We may have an opportunity to do just that. The meeting place would be in the town of Gloversville. Date and times of meetings would be arranged after we see if there is enough interest from members who live in or near Gloversville. If you have an interest in this please contact me by phone at 518 393 6443 or e-mail at jmorette@nycap.rr.com.

This satellite group would still be part of Clearwater Chapter and members would still be able to participate in the Chapter activities. The satellite group would have their own meeting, schedule their own programs, and have full support from the parent Chapter. This would give more members an opportunity to take advantage of their membership by participating in and going to meeting closer to home.

The sooner we have enough of you interested, the sooner we can get started. Also, If there is any member interested in being the Chapter liaison to the Gloversville Satellite please let me know. All are welcome. Meetings are held at the Best  Western Sovereign Hotel about a mile east of the end of the Northway (I-87). We start with the guest fly tier at  6:30pm and our presentation begins about an hour later.
