Beginning in 2012 a project was undertaken by the Catskill Watersheds Partnership, an alliance of the Clearwater, Dave Brandt, Upper Delaware, and Beamoc Chapters, on Russell Brook a tributary of the Beaver Kill in Sullivan County, NY. Other partners integral to the project were the US Fish & Wildlife Service, who did the design, and the Russell Brook Campground landowner. TU volunteers conducted the surveying, created drawings, and submitted DEC permit applications. Funding came through TU National, Tracy Brown, Northeastern Restoration Coordinator. The project was successfully completed in 2013.
