Volunteers preassembling parts of a kiosk to be erected at the site of Public Fishing Rights (PFR) being acquired by NY State on Onesquethaw Creek. The legal requirements and easement transfer are expected to be completed in 2012. Significant funds are ready to be spent on habitat and stream stabilization projects once the PFR acquistion is complete. Public access and recreational use of the stream is one of the goals of the Watershed Management Plan recently completed by the Onesquethaw Coeymans Watershed Council (OCWC). Clearwater Chapter of TU is one of the founding members of the OCWC and a major contributor to OCWC work.

People interested in participating in the work of the OCWC or Trout Unlimited should email\call Roy Lamberton at 518 421-2500.
